Thanksgiving on Quartermaster Harbor

Thanks to the beauty of the commute and shared interests we had the privilege of a new friendship with Michael and Rita. She has a green thumb like a woman possessed, lived in Hawaii, and practices PR...oh, and they keep bees that David stewards on their Quartermaster property.  All our worlds collide with these two kindred spirits!

This Thanksgiving, David took a break from creating the usual, bazillion-course awesome holiday feast for which he's known, and instead created a lovely creme brulee (chai tea infused!) to share at this couple's lovely home as part of their hosted festivities. We dined with them, their two grown sons and a few wayward T-Day orphans much like ourselves. It was a refreshing change. We are grateful to share table time with so many fun and interesting people. Mahalo and domo arigato to our island friends!
